On the afternoon of August 28th, the representative of the Climate Fund Managers (CFM), Mr. Tarun Brahma, Global Investment Director, and the representative from CA Water signed a Memorandum of Understanding to invest in clean water projects in Vietnam.

Together with local authorities, Phu Binh Water Supply Co., Ltd. and Quang Thanh Water Plant are providing support to those impacted by Typhoon Yagi.

On the afternoon of September 10th, 2024, CA Water JSC and representatives of Climate Fund Managers (CFM) had a meeting with the leadership of Thai Nguyen Province to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The meeting was attended by provincial leaders, heads of various departments, and officials from the People’s Committees of Pho Yen City and Song Cong City.

• CFM, via its Climate Investor Two (CI2) fund, commits to invest USD 24 million in CA Water Joint Stock Company, a Vietnamese developer and operator of water treatment and distribution infrastructure. • CFM’s investment and expertise will support the development, construction and operation of two greenfield water treatment and distribution plants in Northern Vietnam. • The two plants together will deliver 25 million liters of clean drinking water a day to 150,000 people in the region.
