In the afternoon of September 10th, 2024, CA Water JSC and representatives of Climate Fund Managers (CFM) had a meeting with the leadership of Thai Nguyen Province to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The meeting was attended by provincial leaders, heads of various departments, and officials from the People’s Committees of Pho Yen City and Song Cong City.
Expressing his admiration for Thai Nguyen’s rapid development, Mr. Tarun Brahma, Global Director of CFM, was pleased to note the positive impact of several community programs (such as school sanitation facilities) that the fund had implemented in the province. He hoped that future community projects would continue to contribute to Thai Nguyen's socio-economic development.
During the meeting, a representative of Phu Binh Water Supply Co., Ltd. reported that the construction of the Phu Binh Water Plant was progressing on schedule.
Additionally, CA Water JSC proposed two new projects: the construction of a 50,000 m³/day water plant in Pho Yen City and a wastewater collection and treatment project in Pho Yen City, which includes the first wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 15,000 m³/day and the second wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 35,000 m³/day . These projects aim to enhance the local water supply and drainage infrastructure, contributing to the socio-economic development of Pho Yen City.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr Le Quang Tien, welcomed the investment proposals from CA Water JSC and CFM, noting that they align with Thai Nguyen’s essential needs. He emphasized that, along with attracting significant investments, the province places a strong focus on environmental protection, efficient resource management, disaster prevention, and climate change adaptation.
