On the morning of June 22, 2022, the leadership of Chau Thanh District held a meeting with the investor, European Trading Company Limited from Ho Chi Minh City, to discuss the implementation of the clean water supply plant investment project.

Comrade Ngô Thanh Toàn, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Committee, attended the meeting along with the leadership of various specialized departments of the district. During the meeting, representatives from the specialized departments of Chau Thanh District provided information on the demand for clean water, rural clean water supply systems, irrigation canal systems for agricultural production, saline prevention systems, and automated water quality monitoring systems. They also provided information and data to support the company's investment proposal, and details about the land that has been cleared and prepared for the project.
The company representatives outlined their project for a clean water extraction, treatment, and supply system using advanced RO water filtration technology for treating saline water to meet health and safety standards with UF membrane filtration. They discussed their previous investments in several locations, the operation of the plant and water pumping stations, and the management of water quality. At the end of the meeting, the district leadership approved the socialized investment proposal for the company's clean water supply project and committed to providing all necessary support to facilitate the project's implementation.
